New Anime Coming: Headhunted to Another World

There has been an official confirmation of an exciting anime adaptation for "Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!". This news comes straight from the publishing duo, Benigashira and Muramitsu's manga. The anime has been circulating in buzz online following the active promotions from its official website and the different social media accounts linked to the TV series. Japanese TV viewers can look forward to the first-ever airing slated for 2025.

A Glimpse at the Star-studded Production

The revealed trailer and key visual divulged a lot about the eagerly-awaited anime series. Steering the reins of the show is Michio Fukuda of "Failure Frame" fame, assuming the directorial responsibilities. Hiroko Fukuda who worked on "Taiso Otome Fairy Tale" has been brought on board for series composition, assisted by Ayumi Nishihata's character designs. The music of the series is the creative accomplishment of Takafumi Wada, known for "The Seven Deadly Sins". GEEKTOYS and CompTown are the collaborative forces behind this production.

This isn't all. The main cast of the anime series has also been unveiled:

  • Yuki Ono, renowned as Louis of BEASTARS, is taking up the character of Dennosuke Uchimura.
  • Konomi Kohara, the voice behind Chitose Kaginoji in TONIKAWA, has been placed as Ulmandra.
  • Akio Otsuka, known for his role as All for One in My Hero Academia, will be portraying Demon Overlord.

About Headhunted to Another World

Headhunted to Another World is being translated and published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. It revolves around an average salaryman, Uchimura Denosuke, who happens to be headhunted by the Demon Overlord, of all people!

Uchimura Denosuke slowly transitions from an office worker to one of the Four Heavenly Kings in his army. Haplessly caught in this bizarre circumstance, Uchimura tries to carve out his strength by blending his corporate skills and office acumen into this ferocious world. His journey within this fantasy terrain proves to be intriguing and gut-wrenching in equal measure.
