Following his victory over All For One, Symbol of Evil, All Might the symbolic Peace Warrior utters, "Next, it's your turn!" Even though All Might is no longer the top hero in a society where the majority of citizens have superpower quirks, Deku and his colleagues at U.A. High School's Hero Course remain committed to carrying out his legacy and principles as champions. With the arrival of Deku's sophomore year at U.A., a no-holds-barred clash between heroes and villains ensues. Deku goes head-to-head with the formidable Tomura Shigaraki, inducing many casualties on both parties involved. However, the battle comes to a halt with Shigaraki's withdrawal, marking the countdown to the inevitable next confrontation. The extensive conflict leaves Japan in a state of destruction, only for a mysterious man to appear. Introducing himself as the successor to All Might's legacy, thus becoming the new Symbol, he chants "Next, it's my turn!", revealing himself to be Dark Might. Despite his physical resemblance to All Might, Dark Might's principles stand in stark contrast. Driven by personal desires, he wields his superpower quirk, constructing an extensive fortress that engulfs the population successively. Among Dark Might's entourage is Anna, a woman with an unidentified quirk, pursued by Giulio, an expressionless character dressed as a butler, which leads to further questions about their ties to Dark Might. The stage is now set for Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, and U.A. High Class 1-A to challenge Dark Might's reign and put an end to his reign - thwarting his plans and the clandestine crime syndicate, the Gollini Family, under his control.
