Seven Seas Entertainment, the English publisher of the original novel series, offers an intriguing synopsis explaining the plot of "I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!": Liam, the protagonist, led a life characterized by morality and responsibility in his past life, only to be betrayed by his wife and drown in debt at the time of his death. His rebirth bestows him with the reins of a vast intergalactic empire, where he's determined to seize control, living for himself rather than for others.
