Joe Biden wins US Presidential Election

CBS News has officially projected that Joe Biden has won the 2020 election and while results are still unofficial, it does appear that Biden has secured more than enough electoral college votes to secure the seat in 2021.  Trump is fighting the results and it is far to early to tell when the presidential race will be officially ended, but Trump conceding to Biden does not appear likely.

In other election news, the House did gain more Republicans, but is likely to remain in Democrat control.  The Senate appears to be staying in Republican control, but Georgia will be having runoff election to determine their Senate seat and that could mean a tie between the two parties in the Senate (although the Republican party is currently winning in GA).  If the Senate were to end in a tie, then the Democrats would technically have control as the vice President will be the tie breaking vote.
