I have no idea whether the software is any good or not, but I installed it on my PC a while ago when I first bought my Elgato for capturing PS3/PS4 gameplay. https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html It seems like it would do the job of editing a capture.. but perhaps someone with more experience could enlighten us a bit more!

Have you ever dabbled with water cooling, or have you been tempted to do so? I'm not 'hardcore' enough to contemplate such a setup. To me, water and electricity in close proximity is a bad idea.. 🤣

I've recently upgraded my desktop PC to Windows 11, and don't mind the changes to the UI as much as I thought.. It's actually pretty sleek. It feels like they've taken away some of the bloat that recent Windows iterations have introduced, and have simplified things.

My old laptop is a 17" HP Pavilion.. I do love the bigger screen, but you certainly notice the extra size and weight when carrying it around. I don't use it so much any more because it's a 4th Gen i5, and I've since bought a new desktop PC - but if I were to replace it I think I'd most likely downsize to a 15", honestly.
